Anderson is a county in Tennessee. It was formed in 1801 from the following county/ies: Knox/Grainger. Anderson began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1838, and death records in 1891. It began keeping land records in 1802, probate records in 1827, and court records in 1801.
