Greene is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1819 from the following county/ies: Marengo/Tuscaloosa. Greene began keeping birth records in 1912, marriage records in 1823, and death records in 1909. It began keeping land records in 1819, probate records in 1820, and court records in 1867.
