Kaufman is a county in Texas. It was formed in 1848 from the following county/ies: Henderson. Kaufman began keeping birth records in 1869, marriage records in 1849, and death records in 1903. It began keeping land records in 1846, probate records in 1849, and court records in 1856. For more information, contact the county at Courthouse, Kaufman 75142.
