The North Dakota Bureau of Vital Statistics holds an index to cemetery names (not individuals buried there), location, and date of organization of cemeteries in the state. Many cemetery transcripts have been compiled by local genealogical societies in separate publications or periodicals. They may be found in one of several North Dakota libraries.
