When Margaret Ann McMAHON was born in 1724 in Spotsylvania, Virginia, her father, Col, was 34, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 24. She married James Bruce on June 10, 1744, in Winchester, Virginia. They had one child during their marriage. She died in 1796 in Bardstown, Kentucky, at the age of 72.
